# Homework & Lesson Plans

## Assigning Homework

1. Go to **Learning → Homework**.
2. Click **Add Homework**.
3. Fill in:
   - **Title** (e.g. Chapter 3 Exercise)
   - **Description** — detailed instructions for students
   - **Class** and **Subject**
   - **Due Date**
4. Click **Save**.

Students will see the homework in their portal under **My Homework**, sorted by due date. Overdue items are highlighted in red.

## Managing Homework

- Use the **filters** to find homework by class or subject.
- Click **Edit** to update the title, description, or due date.
- Toggle the homework **Active/Inactive** to show or hide it from students.
- Click **Delete** to remove it permanently.

## Lesson Plans

1. Go to **Learning → Lesson Plans**.
2. Click **Add Lesson Plan**.
3. Fill in the class, subject, topic, date, and your lesson notes.
4. Click **Save**.

## Syllabus

Track how much of the syllabus has been covered.

1. Go to **Learning → Syllabus**.
2. Select a class and subject to see the syllabus structure.
3. Mark topics as **Completed** as you cover them.

## Online Classes

Add links to virtual class sessions (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

1. Go to **Learning → Online Classes**.
2. Click **Add Online Class**.
3. Enter the title, class, subject, meeting link, and scheduled date/time.
4. Click **Save**.

Students will see the link in their portal.
